Prior to her work with the Holstein Association and Foundation, Jodi was a nutrition consultant for Vita Plus Corporation in Columbus, Wis. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison, majoring in dairy science and life science communications. While in university, she was very involved in the Association of Women in Agriculture (AWA). Living in the AWA house all four years in college, she made her dearest friends. She gives back today as the alumni organization’s Education Chair, fundraising and coordinating $10,000 a year in college scholarships to AWA members.

Jodi grew up on Lost Elm Farm in Berlin, Wisconsin, USA, where she gained a passion for the Registered dairy cattle business. When Jodi was young, her family had Registered Holsteins. In the 90s, they started to acquire some Brown Swiss which eventually took over the herd. They bred and developed numerous All-Americans. Since her older brother took over the herd in 2010, they made the switch to Jerseys, and have already bred an All-American. Jodi is still as involved as she can be on the farm from a thousand miles away, and enjoys going home to help her family at the shows.

Outside of her love for cows, Jodi’s interests include travel, cooking and baking, and watching her favorite football teams – the Wisconsin Badgers and the Green Bay Packers. She and her husband, Carl, reside in Gill, Massachusetts, USA.

Jodi, we’re fortunate to have your dedication and passion in the dairy industry. You’re leaving a legacy through the many young people you inspire and support on their leadership journeys across the USA.
