Emma Fellows grew up in Oamaru and was exposed to aspects of the farming lifestyle through her parent’s butchery business, either by watching them work tirelessly in the butchery or frequently heading to the sale yards with her Dad. From the early days Emma quickly cottoned on that being involved in the farming community meant hard work, sacrifice and long hours. Little did she know she would be fully immersed in the rural lifestyle later on in life herself.

I love that I get to balance my days between farm life, being a Mum and partner, as well as creating products that help heal, repair and nourish the mind body and soul."

Emma now lives with her partner, who lovingly kidnapped her to move to Moa Flat to their sheep and beef farm. She has a number of hands on roles on the farm including helping in the yards, tailing and wrapping balage.  However you’ll find her spending the majority of her days working on her true passion, her business, The Moa Body Range. Emma has created an affordable pure, natural and organic skincare range that can be used on the whole family including everyone and anyone living that rural lifestyle and beyond. She has focused on creating this range using common ingredients that your average Joe Bloggs can recognise as well as marketing the products in an uplifting and totally fun way.  One of her new products, yet to released, is a men’s face scrub called Tame The Goat! She has crafted her own recipes to help with conditions she see's the people around her struggling with and through her products empower them to feel their own kind of beautiful.

"I’m chuffed l that I have the knowledge that enables me to create products which help the people around me in the rural community. Our bath fizzers are magical at helping to relieve aches and pains from the physical demands of farm life, my range of scrubs really clean and nourish the body after spending day after day in the stinky yards, and Miss Foxy is great at helping relieve pain from sunburn, in the warmer months! I love that I get to balance my days between farm life, being a Mum and partner, as well as creating products that help heal, repair and nourish the mind body and soul."

What a unique way you have found to help the community. We are sure there are many very grateful members of industry out there who's body need a little TLC. Awesome work Emma.
