Penny started out as a video journalist for sky news and then went to Federated Farmers Communications team and now she's at Ravensdown.
"I also speak to farming and industry groups about social media and help connect reporters to farming talent for their stories outside of my day job. I work in the primary sector because I love the people and the environment. Penny grew up on a hill/high country sheep and beef farm in north Canterbury, and now lives part time on her partner’s sheep and beef farm. She has always held the farmer work ethic and grit in the highest regard. "That, and the incredible lifestyle, are two reasons why I feel an inherent need to help protect the farmer’s social license to operate."

We are right behind you with the love for sharing stories of people in the New Zealand primary industries. Your hard work is helping those working on farms all across the country!
